Finding your why is what enables you to stop chasing others and start attracting them to you, when you realise what makes you tick, what really inspires you and you harness that, others recognise the confidence and the higher level of self awareness that fosters and they begin to be drawn by that decisiveness.
When you first started out, were you told to draft your warm list and approach them (family, friends, work colleagues), that's desperate, and it's a fast way to get those people switched off and avoiding you. Sure if you're fortunate you may have several people on that list who are fired up and willing to do whatever it takes, but in all honesty, aren't there far more people on that list who switch off as soon as you start talking about your business? Learn to avoid them before they start to avoid you and establish you as the guy or gal that they least want to be anywhere near.
It's important for you to take control of the situation if you want to stop chasing & start attracting prospects to you - make a conscious choice to spend time and energy on people who want to move ahead with you rather than those who require so much support to take a step or two that they draw you backwards constantly.
